The Hopewell Valley Soccer Association annual senior scholarship awards up to three $1,500 scholarships to graduating seniors who best represent the qualities developed through participation in the HVSA program. The scholarships may be used to pursue a post-secondary education at a four-year college/university, community college, or vocational school.

Eligible applicants must have played a minimum of four years in the Hopewell Valley Soccer Association travel and/or recreational soccer programs and be a resident of Hopewell Valley.

Applications will be judged by a HVSA committee with the award based upon the student’s soccer experiences and performance, commitment to the game, high school academic performance, extra-curricular/community service activities, an essay and recommendation from adult educator or community leader. The essay should describe how participation in the Hopewell Valley Soccer Association travel and/or recreational program has been a positive influence on the applicant’s overall development and growth.
