Expanding the Player Development Pathway for Area Players
Since the Fall of 2021, HVSA Travel and NLSA Surf have fostered a collaborative approach to improving the soccer experience and player pathway for Mercer County and surrounding area youth players. This Program has grown significantly each year since its inception.
Our PDP teams follow a traditional club soccer format, with two training sessions per week, allowing players to expand their technical and tactical skill set while being taught through a US Soccer Federation-focused training philosophy. The teams will compete in either the EDP Futures, MNJYSA, ICSL, or Rock League, and benefit from a team-specific professional coach. PDP teams will also participate in at least two tournaments per season as well as a Winter league and once-weekly winter training sessions.
Tryout registration is now OPEN for the 2025/2026 PDP Travel Soccer Season that begins in September 2025.

2017 Girls Tryout Dates: March 18th (5:30p-7:00p @ PDS Baker Turf) and March 22nd (3:15p-4:45p @ Twin Pines Turf)
2017 Boys Tryout Dates: March 17th (5:30p-7:00p @ PDS Baker Turf) & March 22nd (3:15p-4:45p @ Twin Pines Turf)
2018 Girls Tryout Dates: March 18th (5:30p-7:00p @ PDS Baker Turf) and March 22nd (1:45p-3:15p @ Twin Pines Turf)
2018 Boys Tryout Date: March 17th (7:00-8:00p @ Schafer Sports Indoor Turf
